The servo mount continues to be developed.
This layout is being developed to give members the opportunity to try out new techniques and learn new skills which they can re-use on their own layouts. The layout is 4mm scale with two loops and a freight line. There are DC and DCC controllers.
This is the latest club layout to be started from scratch. It is being built on baseboards that have been reused after the forthcoming Railway Challenge TV series. It is being modelled in 7mm scale with features such as a ship coal loader being planned.
After further discussion, the two titans of planning agreed a compromise.
An exhibition at St Paul's United Reform Church in Croham Road from 10am to 4pm.
CMRS will be at the Annual Fun Day at Carshalton Beaches Free Church.
In the Autumn each year, the Society organises an exhibition of some of the leading layouts in the South of England. This year it will be held again at Warlingham School, close to both Croydon and the M25.
