The gang have now taken Malcolm’s idea of two insersecting figures of eight and positioned the baseboards to take advantage of the space available.

Purists might comment about the lack of a track plan but apart from the quick sketch in Richard’s blue book, that is a problem for the next meeting.

Already there are some concerns about the tight curvatures that will be necessary but we will have to see.

A more difficult question was posed by the Chairman – would the central section ever fit is a car? We will need to think about that one.
