As has been the case for the last few weeks, some detailed testing has been underway and some additional droppers have had to be added, particularly to take account of the breaks across the baseboards.

Although the wiring of the points has been straightforward, the double slip is another matter. Malcolm C and Dave have been using a number of clip on LED lights to help get the wiring of the microswitches correct.

The device is very simply, two crocodile clips, a 1000 Ohm resistor and a LED that glows red when the voltage is applied one way and blue when it is reversed.

A number of members have now used these devices to help them get their wiring  to deliver power as they want it.
