Normally I can take a photo of Dave painting some sleepers, but not today.

A second attempt at laying ballast was undertaken by both Malcolm and Dave. Dave did point out that he had been using the same paintbrush to push the ballast into place.

So the ballast has been laid and the fixing solution sprayed on.We now need to wait until next week to see if the fixative has worked this time.
