Malcolm has built the remaining five baseboards and delivered them to the club. In the afternoon Malcolm set to the task of assembling them and Dave checked that all was well. Al did his supervisory stint, albeit without a clipboard.
After assembly, Dave and Malcolm connected the boards together and checked that everything was aligned properly.
Some wingeing about the height of the baseboards. Various team members made unhelpful suggestions and moved quickly before Malcolm was able to take retribution.
So adjustments are anticipated and we will all watch this space with bated breath.
Close to completion now, Malcolm and Dave are putting in the final bolts that will be used to hold the boards vertically to enable work to be done on the underside of the baseboards without having to crawl under them.
Meanwhile the baseboards on the left are making a useful bench for the tools being used.
