After all Richard’s hard work creating inclines and evaluating curves, the original dumb bell layout has been abandoned in favour of two bridges between the two boards and enabling the use of curves with a wider radius.

All the parts have been neatly stacked ready to be re-used to evaluate the next track plan – which includes a military area. We might be looking forward to heliports, submarine pens and even a spitfire flying overhead – I’m sure Malcolm C will want to re-use his star animation from the Great Model Railway Challenge.
